Mitsubishi has set the starting price for the i Electric Vehicle at just under $30,000 excluding delivery. The Mitsubishi Electric Vehicle will start at $27,990, plus shipping and after a $7,500 federal tax credit, the electric car will start at only $20,490. This makes the Mitsubishi i EV the least expensive all-electric vehicle. Pre-orders began on Friday, April 22nd. The first deliveries will likely be in January 2012.
